Interested in more public artworks? Want to curate a film series or exhibition? Looking to hone your grant writing skills or connect with other artists in your community? What is an Arts Council exactly and what should it do? These are just some of the topics that we will be discussing during the first installment our Listening Tour. Arts Council of Kern staff will host a series of virtual and in-person meetings throughout Kern County from July - September 2022. We want to hear from YOU about how we can better serve artists in our region. The feedback gathered over the course of these town hall-style meeting combined with our organization's strategic planning process will help the Arts Council of Kern develop programs that respond to the creative needs of our community in partnership with Kern County residents and visitors.
