Coming in October
ArtWalk takes place in downtown Bakersfield on the first Friday of every month, from October through June.
Download the ArtWalk application and ACK’s release form kernarts.org/artwalk and pay online. Questions? Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us at artwalk@kernarts.org. The cost to participate as an artist-vendor is $35 per month.

Contact us via email or stop by the ACK office at 3801 Chester Avenue, Bakersfield, CA 93301, Tuesday – Friday.
Registration is open until 4 pm the Wednesday before ArtWalk.
Every first Friday of the month,
the Arts Council of Kern produces ArtWalk in historic downtown Bakersfield.
Along with artists and artisans, live music set the scene for this FREE, family-friendly event.
Downtown shops and restaurants are also open for business.
Feast your eyes or add to your art collection. Artworks of all forms, clothing, handmade jewelry, and more are onsite for demonstration or purchase.
Bakersfield locals,
often comment about enjoying all that artists and vendors offer. They are grateful for the opportunity to talk with the artists about their art and to watch demonstrations by some.
