About the Latination Exhibit

The Latination Exhibit is the heart of Latination—an art show dedicated to showcasing the creativity, heritage, and voices of Latino artists in our community and beyond. Featuring contemporary works across a variety of mediums, the exhibit highlights stories of identity, culture, and expression that celebrate the richness of Latin heritage.

Curated by Don Martin of Metro Galleries, the Latination Exhibit brings together both emerging and established artists, offering visitors a chance to see powerful perspectives and vibrant artistry all in one place. More than just an art display, it is a platform for connection—inviting the community to engage, reflect, and celebrate together.

The exhibition is open now at the Arts Council of Kern Gallery, 1020 18th Street in Bakersfield, and will remain on view through October 23rd, 2025. Admission is free, and all are welcome.
