Two Poets Read

“Two Poets Read” features local poets Annis Cassells and Catherine Abbey Hodges. Both these esteemed poets, with their rich, relatable narrative and lyrical poems, show us that poetry validates the oneness of all humans. Lovers of poetry will delight in the language and imagery set before them. Listeners who don’t usually gravitate toward poetry will feel understood and included. All will experience the shift in perspective and feeling that poetry creates.
Annis Cassells is the author of You Can’t Have It All and What the Country Wrought. Catherine Abbey Hodges is the author of Instead of Sadness, winner of the 2015 Barry Spacks Poetry Prize; Raft of Days, and In a Rind of Light.
