Art Sherwyn

For over 40 years, Art Sherwyn has been dedicated to unlocking creative potential through visual art. A celebrated high school art teacher, he’s earned top honors including the Disney American Teacher Award, California Art Educator of the Year, and National Secondary Art Educator of the Year. His expertise has made him a sought-after speaker at conferences on art, education, and leadership.

Through engaging workshops, retreats, and lectures, Art empowers participants to break from convention, embrace failure, and find emotional freedom through the artistic process.

Em Radmacher

A lifetime of writing practices at her back, Radmacher has 35 years of experience in
her own production art company, decades of inspiring groups to connect with their
creative capacities, editorial expertise for a former U.S. president, more than a dozen
published books and words that appear in countless forms around the world. Her
proprietary curricula and engaging training style challenge writerly and creative
populations, and unlock creative possibilities in those exploring various arts.
She is included in the Oxford Dictionary of American Quotations. She likes dogs and
appreciates a good cup of coffee. 

Jeanette Richardson

Jeanette Richardson has advocated for arts access and education in Kern County
for over 25 years. As former Executive Director of the Arts Council of Kern (ACK),
she led major projects like the Taft Oil Worker Monument and Arvin Green Arts murals. Jeanette focused on inclusive
programs for at-risk youth and
marginalized communities. A professional visual artist and poet, a book of her poetry and art, Dust of Shooting Stars,
was published in 2020. Jeanette returned as ACK’s Executive Director in December 2022, revitalizing the organization with new initiatives like Common Ground, Arts for Rehabilitation, and the CalTrans Mural Project.
