COMMUNITY GRANTS FOR ARTS
Presented BY ARTS COUNCIL OF KERN (ACK)
Bakersfield, CA – This week the Arts Council of Kern (ACK) announced that applications for Community Arts Grants are now available. Grants for $500-$2500 will be awarded in May 2023.
In keeping with our mission to provide arts education, access, and advocacy, ACK presented an online grants orientation via Zoom and also announced that applications in both English and Spanish are available on our website kernarts.org.
The orientation informs Kern County residents of the eligibility requirements for these grants and offers instructions on how to apply.
Executive Director, Jeanette Richardson, says, “This year is already shaping up to be spectacular for Kern County artists and the community. Along with our Community Grants program, our outreach and support plans for artists in our outer lying areas are already gaining momentum.”
*Members of our staff are English/Spanish bilingual and will return calls when these services are desired or required.
